"The help and advice you have given us is incredible. We showed F the video about being dyslexic and I think it has helped him a lot. That night, he wrote his first ever story at home in the form of a graphic novel. We were so happy and proud of him. I don't think it was a coincidence. Thank you again, you have - BY FAR - been the most helpful, knowledgeable person I have spoken to about F."

"A few years ago, so please note I don’t expect you to remember, you did a dyslexia diagnosis for my son George. He was an avid gymnast who even you said has a complex pattern. Again I don’t expect you to remember but upon leaving you, you said to me: this is only the start and it may open doors but you have to find them first.
Spring to now and yes, delayed by covid, but my son has been diagnosed with a severe speech and language disorder and just been granted a full EHCP! Your report has been used in many aspects on forming this. Speech and language have confirmed many parts which you identified. I wanted to thank you. I found our chat all but brief so honest and up front. It has been a battle but I was prepared as I knew it would be. However in a new setting and better trained staff, George is now getting the support he deserves. Thank you for starting the process and helping me understand the battle it would be."

"Thank you so much for your wonderful report, which M and I have just finished reading through. He feels (and I agree) that you have perfectly captured and diagnosed his difficulties. He was especially uplifted by your comments regarding his ability. In the past, M's assessments have been a source of embarrassment for him, as they identified what was 'wrong' with him. He feels that your report identifies that he thinks differently, but that this doesn't mean he can't achieve. This has meant the world to M by giving him confidence that the difficulties he experiences, have not in fact reduced his potential, and he can (with support) pursue his aspirations.
Thank you again Lorraine for your time and your expertise."

"Thankyou for the care you have taken over this report on xx. It has given him greater insight into himself as a learner and enabled us as parents to understand him better. Also as a teacher it has enabled me to realise some of the subtle signs of dyslexia that I would have dismissed until now. I really appreciate your wisdom and knowledge and all that you have done to support xx in realising his potential. Many thanks"

"Highly recommend Lorraine Forehead who has assessed 2 of my children for Dyslexia and other related educational problems. Lorraine is very professional with a friendly, welcoming approach who easily puts both parent and child at ease for the assessment.
Lorraine is very thorough in her assessments and takes time afterwards to explain the process and the outcome in an understandable language. Her reports are very detailed and totally useful for Schools/College to use in helping out children and giving them the best support.
Interestingly Lorraine picked up a completely different area of concern for one of our children and recommended them to see their GP about it. She was spot on with her concerns and our daughter is now getting additional help with this problem, which had never been identified previously by any medical professional.
I have personally recommended Lorraine to several other parents who have suspected their child having a learning difficulty and will of course, continue to recommend her."

"Lorraine's service was first-rate: up-to-date, swift and thorough. It gave us exactly what we needed to prove to the examining board that our daughter needed the extra time in her exams. This was particularly important for us as home-educators, not having access to the conventional means of diagnosis via a school. Lorraine was really friendly and approachable; she made our daughter feel totally relaxed and at ease throughout the assessment. We would not hesitate in recommending her."

“My wife and I recently had both our boys (8 & 10) separately assessed
to define education support needs – specifically around dyslexia. We
were provided with several suppliers but Lorraine proved prompt and
friendly on the phone. The boys attended her quiet and homely setting for
the tests, and were made to feel very welcome and relaxed with the
process. After the tests it was very clear that each boy was very happy
and not shy as we might have expected - I attribute this to Lorraine’s
manner and the way she enlists the help of her animals and chocolate
biscuits!
The reports are very thorough and well detailed, providing practical
advice for parents and family in addition to the more usual educational
reader.
The existing school now have clear guidance for support, and both boys
should have a better chance to succeed.
We were really impressed with all aspects of Lorraine’s service and
would definitely recommend her to friends.”

"If you think your child could be dyslexic, I recommend Lorraine, she has
recently carried out an in-depth test for us and confirmed everything we
have been saying to the school and college for years! She has provided a
thorough report, which is very much superior to the ones carried out at
school. Thank you Lorraine"

"Our 10 yr old son felt encouraged following his assessment, and Lorraine's
report is full of useful strategies and advice for home and
school. Lorraine has also been very helpful with our questions following
the assessment. The experience has been invaluable for working out how we
can help our son best.
Very many thanks.
With our best wishes"

'You may not remember me but you tested Cameron for Dyslexia prior to him attending Aberystwyth University 3 years ago and from your report he received lots of support at Uni.
I just wanted to let you know that Cameron has just graduated with a 2:1 in Modern & Contemporary History and is going on to do his Masters at Aber in September. So one very proud Mum.
Thank you so much for all your help in getting Cameron the support he needed.'

We met you last year for xxx. She has since seen a paediatrician, who is doing lots of tests. She was found to have dyspraxia, dyslexia and visual stress. They are looking into whether it's a wider processing disorder. We are waiting for a SALT assessment and then a possible referral to London. She has an education plan at school, tinted overlays (pink) and is finding things a little easier. We are talking with the school about dropping languages at GCSE level after the OT assessed her (lots has happened in just under a year). She passed her Lamda exams with flying colours and now is doing grade 6 in musical theatre. Thank you again for your help with her.
